A smarter way
to navigate parenting.
Parenting Patch is an independent family resource publishing evidence-based guides, explainers, and reviews for modern parents — covering everything from pregnancy and child health to education, screen time, and the media kids actually consume.
Our Story
Built by parents, for parents — since 2011.
ParentingPatch.com was founded in 2011 to fill a gap we kept running into ourselves: parenting advice online was either fluffy and anecdotal or buried inside dense academic studies. We wanted a third option — clear, well-sourced, and written by people who actually live the day-to-day of raising kids.
More than a decade later, we’re still here — now serving millions of families across the U.S. and Canada with practical guides, health explainers, education resources, and honest reviews of the movies, shows, books, and games shaping the next generation.

How We Work
Editorial standards you can trust.
Every article we publish is held to the same standard: clear sourcing, plain language, and a commitment to keeping our work accurate over time.
- Clear sourcing. Health and education content cites authoritative references — peer-reviewed studies, medical organizations, and government data.
- Plain-language explanations. No jargon, no walls of text. We write the way we’d want a friend to explain it.
- Review cycle. Medical and education articles are reviewed and updated as guidance evolves.
- Visible corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and timestamp the change. No quiet edits.
- Editorial independence. Sponsored content is always labeled. Reviews and opinions are never for sale.
