Fans of Gabby’s Dollhouse are getting another furry friend to follow. Netflix has announced Doozie’s Doghouse, a new spinoff that expands the popular preschool franchise with Gabby’s younger sister and her collection of puppy pals.
Doozie’s Doghouse premieres November 9, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. The mixed-media companion series will consist of seven 22-minute episodes, giving young viewers a new place to explore within the Gabby’s Dollhouse universe.
The series puts Doozie at the center of the action as she explores her own dog-themed play space. Like Gabby, Doozie can “get tiny” and enter her fantastical Doghouse, where imaginative play leads to new adventures.
The announcement comes as Gabby’s Dollhouse continues to be a major Netflix kids’ hit. Seasons 1–13 have accumulated more than 670 million views since 2024, while Season 14 recently reached No. 4 on Netflix’s Global Top 10.
Meet Doozie and Her Doghouse Friends
Doozie is Gabby’s dog-loving younger sister, creating a playful counterpart to Gabby’s cat-focused world. She is voiced by Celestina Harris, while her best puppy pal, Puggie Paws, is voiced by Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez.
The new series also introduces a group of puppy characters, including CreamPup, PixiePup, Crouton Breadington, GamePup, Seaquin the SeaPup, Swaggy Waggy, DreamPup and BoxPup. Some familiar Gabby’s Dollhouse characters will also cross over, allowing the two sides of the family to interact.
Co-creator Jennifer Twomey explained that the idea came partly from wanting to bring “puppy energy” into the franchise. She also said the creators wanted to expand the show’s family dynamic with a “Dollhouse family and the Doghouse family.”
Netflix Is Going All-In on Kids Programming
Doozie’s Doghouse is part of a larger Netflix push into preschool and children’s programming. The company is also extending its Sesame Street deal through Season 62 and developing a new live-action Sesame Street movie with Sesame Workshop and Rideback.
Netflix is also adding Gabby’s Dollhouse: Makers and Bakers, a competition series arriving December 9 with four holiday-themed episodes. More episodes are scheduled for 2027.
For families, the strategy means more opportunities to stay within familiar worlds while discovering new characters. With Doozie’s Doghouse, Netflix is betting that kids who love Gabby’s cat-filled adventures will be ready to explore a whole new side of the franchise.
