Preschoolers are getting a new way to explore the world with Bing: Sensory Time, a special YouTube miniseries from Acamar Films. Featuring the beloved animated bunny, the new series uses gentle visuals, sounds and everyday experiences to encourage young children to discover their senses and engage with the world around them.

The new miniseries launched October 29, 2026, with its first episode arriving just in time for Halloween. According to C21Media, episodes will appear on the official Bing YouTube channel, initially in the UK, as well as Acamar Films’ global Again! Again! channel.

New videos will be released every other week, giving families regular opportunities to enjoy the slower-paced programming. The series was developed with support from Bing’s early-years educational consultant, Dr. Natascha Crandall.

Unlike traditional fast-paced children’s entertainment, Bing: Sensory Time encourages little viewers to slow down, pay attention and explore their surroundings at their own pace.

What Are the Episodes About, and What Do They Teach?

The series features simple sensory activities designed to encourage children to look, listen, touch and move. Examples include popping bubbles, listening to animal sounds and watching Bing’s toy Hoppity Voosh imagine stars floating through the air.

In an interview highlighted by Brands Untapped, Crandall explains that gentle programming allows children to explore new ideas “without being overstimulated.”

The episodes aim to develop important early childhood skills, including attention, communication and physical coordination. They also encourage curiosity, anticipation and observation, helping preschoolers become more aware of the sights and sounds around them.

The Success of ‘Bing’ and Acamar Films

Since its television debut on CBeebies in 2014, Bing has become an internationally recognized preschool franchise. The original series follows a curious young bunny navigating everyday childhood experiences, from making friends to managing disappointment and learning new skills.

According to Animation World Network, the series has won an International Emmy and a Writers’ Guild Award for Best Writing in a Children’s Program. It is also licensed in 130 territories worldwide.

The success has helped Acamar Films expand Bing beyond traditional television into digital entertainment, merchandise and educational programming. With Bing: Sensory Time, the company is introducing its familiar characters to an even younger audience while creating new opportunities for early childhood learning.
