Christmas M&M's Funfetti Cake Cookies Recipe

As Christmas approaches, I always bake dozens and dozens of holiday cookies. In addition to my favorites, I also enjoy whipping up many different types of cake mix cookies. To make some festive and tasty cookies for the Christmas season, I used a box of Funfetti cake mix with some red and green holiday M&M’s as decorations.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°.
  2. Beat together the softened butter, eggs, and water in a large bowl.
  3. Slowly add the cake mix to the butter mixture. Combine thoroughly.
  4. Drop teaspoons of the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Leave 2 inches between the dough balls.
  5. Decorate the unbaked cookies with Christmas M&M’s.
  6. Bake the cookies for 9 minutes or until the bottoms begin to brown.
  7. Allow the baked cookies to rest for a minute before removing from the cookie sheet.
  8. Store the Christmas M&M’s Funfetti cake cookies in an airtight container.
