As Christmas approaches, I always bake dozens and dozens of holiday cookies. In addition to my favorites, I also enjoy whipping up many different types of cake mix cookies. To make some festive and tasty cookies for the Christmas season, I used a box of Funfetti cake mix with some red and green holiday M&M’s as decorations.
Ingredients
- 1 box of Funfetti cake mix
- 6 tablespoons of softened butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of water
- Christmas M&M’s
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°.
- Beat together the softened butter, eggs, and water in a large bowl.
- Slowly add the cake mix to the butter mixture. Combine thoroughly.
- Drop teaspoons of the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Leave 2 inches between the dough balls.
- Decorate the unbaked cookies with Christmas M&M’s.
- Bake the cookies for 9 minutes or until the bottoms begin to brown.
- Allow the baked cookies to rest for a minute before removing from the cookie sheet.
- Store the Christmas M&M’s Funfetti cake cookies in an airtight container.
