I love buying personalized gifts for my family and friends. I especially love buying personalized books for my daughter. She already has quite the little library of books with her name included in the text. When I first received my copy of Elmo Bye Bye Diapers, I was pleased with the quality of the book. The binding is secure and should withstand years of reading by an enthusiastic child. The paper is high quality, and the printing is bright and clear. I cannot find any noticeable flaws in the book. I rate the personalized books from KD Novelties very high in terms of quality.
Elmo Bye Bye Diapers features Elmo and Zoe, both of whom have learned to use the potty instead of diapers. The book starts by explaining that Elmo, like all babies and many toddlers, used to wear diapers. Through the personalized text, the book reminds my own daughter that she wears diapers at the moment but will someday learn to use the potty just like Elmo. Then Zoe appears to teach about bathroom hygiene such as using only a little toilet paper and washing your hands.
My daughter already loves her “Elmo potty book.” Although she has owned the book for only a short while, I have already read the book aloud to her dozens of times. The text is written for slightly older readers, but my daughter still enjoys listening to the story read out loud. She also really enjoys the illustrations. She loves all the bright colors and pointing out her favorite Sesame Street characters. I am hoping that my daughter will soon want to use the potty just like Elmo!
Final Verdict: I quite enjoy reading the personalized Elmo Bye Bye Diapers aloud to my daughter. I am now hoping that hearing her name within the context of a potty training book starring Elmo will inspire my daughter to begin potty training as well. My daughter loves the pictures, especially the pictures that feature Elmo. She also loves hearing the book read aloud and insists I do so several times a day. At $12.95 for a personalized book of such high quality, Elmo Bye Bye Diapers is a bargain. I highly recommend the personalized books from KD Novelties to anyone looking for a personalized gift for a child.
