Eight years into its run atop the heap of the most popular open-world gaming universes, Fortnite continues to collaborate with the biggest and brightest names in pop culture. The latest in-game content collaboration features none other than the stars of the wildly popular Netflix animated movie, KPop Demon Hunters

Fortnite already features collaborations with prestigious anime franchises like Dragon Ball, Naruto, and My Hero Academia. However, starting today (October 7th) and until October 16th, 2025, players can purchase skins and accessories to play as Rumi, Zoey, and Mira of the fictional K-pop group Huntr/x.

This marks the latest in a long line of collaborations between Fortnite and some of the world’s most famous brands and franchises. Lego, Power Rangers, and even musician Travis Scott have all appeared in the game.

The appearance of Huntr/x in Fortnite is a significant development for parents and fans who have been struggling to find merchandise from the hit movie, as the holiday season approaches.

Fortnite Has A Long History of Big Name Collaborations

Fortnite and Netflix have been collaborating on content and skins since Squid Game season 2, as well as bringing franchises like Stranger Things into the in-game universe.

The list of Fortnite collaborations doesn’t stop there, with events and skins from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, DC Comics, the NFL, and NERF all appearing during the six seasons of gameplay.

Fortnite maker Epic Games has expanded its collaborations list over the years to include other video games, such as Borderlands and Rocket League, as well as musical powerhouses like Snoop Dogg and Mariah Carey. Even heavy metal group Metallica has gotten involved, with skins and a series of virtual concerts on the platform.

In 2019, in conjunction with the release of the ninth Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker, crucial plot details were revealed just before the movie’s release within Fortnite, sparking backlash from Star Wars fans without access to the platform.

Other previous Fortnite collaborations include YouTube sensation Mr. Beast, tennis pro Naomi Osaka, and the app Houseparty.
