Jessa Duggar Seewald recently announced that she is expecting a new member to join her brood soon.
On October 28, 2026, the 19 Kids and Counting alum shared that she and her husband, Ben Seewald, are six weeks pregnant on the “Unplanned Podcast” hosted by Abby Howard and Matt Howard.
“We have six kids, and we’re actually expecting again,” the 33-year-old television personality revealed to the hosts to their shock.
“Yeah. Yeah. Six weeks pregnant with number seven,” Jessa added.

Jessa also shared how she has been feeling in her first trimester.
“A little queasy, but not too bad… We just take it one at a time,” she explained.
She further detailed how she feels about wanting to expand their family.
“We don’t believe that, like, you have to have max… You wanna be on the same page as a couple. And obviously the most important thing is that he cares about my health,” Jessa added.
The couple confirmed that Abby and Matt are the first ones to know about their pregnancy besides their family, with Ben calling it a “special announcement.”

In a video shared on her Instagram, Jessa confirmed that she broke the news to her 31-year-old husband via a text message while he was out golfing.
“I just texted him a photo of the pregnancy test… Then I talked to him six hours later,” the reality TV star added.
Meanwhile, Ben also detailed his experience of finding out about the seventh baby.
“I was golfing with her brother Jed, and I just happened to look down at my phone… I was just like, ‘Wait, what?’” he recalled.
Ben said he told his wife’s dad and brothers about the happy news when they “were about to get brunch together” after playing golf.
“I was like, ‘I’ll bless the food, guys.’ I just started, ‘Lord, thank you for this new baby on the way. They’re like, ‘What?!’” he concluded.

Jessa and Ben have been together since 2013. The pair reportedly courted for 11 months before getting engaged. The couple then tied the knot in 2014.
The pair expanded their family by welcoming their first child, Spurgeon Elliot Seewald in 2015. They are also parents to sons, Henry and George, who are 9 and 2 years old, respectively.
Jessa and Ben also share two daughters, Ivy, 7, and Fern, 5. The couple had an unexpected pregnancy with their baby number six, son Eddie. He is 15 months old and was born in July 2025.
