Marvel’s Heroes Are Heading Back to WEBTOON With Launch Details Coming Soon
Marvel Comics and WEBTOON are expanding their partnership with a new slate of original digital comics, bringing some of Marvel’s most recognizable heroes to one of the world’s largest comic-reading platforms. Which New Marvel WEBTOON Series Are Coming?
The newly announced lineup includes three original series featuring fan-favorite Marvel characters and teams. Tony’s Girl, stars 17-year-old Tony Stark, who is forced to take etiquette classes where he meets and falls for Meredith McCall, daughter of Tony’s father Howard Stark’s business rival Creighton McCall. The series is written by CRC Payne with art by StarBite.
Deadpool joins the fray in the ridiculously-titled That Time Deadpool Fell Into WEBTOON… and Found The Longest Title of All Time!!! The Merc With The Mouth’s story is told by writer Ucheomaaa and artist Annie Huang, and tells a tale of Deadpool getting pulled into an alternate WEBTOON dimension that plays off of Webtoon’s unique genres like romantasy, post-apocalyptic landscapes, and looksmaxxing teenagers.
Finally, X-Men Korea, by Studio LICO, follows students at Hoseok Academy for the Gifted and a Korean teenager who suddenly becomes a mutant must learn to channel his powers and save the world.
