MrBeast is bringing some experienced television comedy talent into his growing entertainment empire. The YouTube superstar’s animated series MrBeast Lab is getting a major expansion, with writers associated with South Park and Bob’s Burgers joining the creative team. The move signals another step in MrBeast’s ambitions to turn his online success into a broader entertainment brand.
The new season of MrBeast Lab brings together writers with experience on two popular animated comedies. Ben Bjelajac and Michael Cruz serve as showrunners, alongside writers Jameel Saleem, Lillian Yu, Conor Hanney, Charley Feldman and Daniel Kibblesmith, whose credits include South Park and Bob’s Burgers.
According to Animation World Network, the expanded series premieres November 1, 2026, on the Beast Animations YouTube channel. The new season features eight episodes totaling 100 minutes, two new characters and returning animation studio Studio Moshi.
The storyline picks up after the destruction of the original laboratory and Banana’s apparent sacrifice. The surviving team follows a mysterious signal suggesting their friend might still be alive, while the Shroud continues threatening Earth.
What Is MrBeast Lab?
MrBeast Lab began as an animated extension of the toy collection created through a partnership between Jimmy Donaldson and Australian toy company Moose Toys. The franchise features collectible creatures and characters inspired by MrBeast’s imaginative universe.
As explained in the MrBeast Lab overview, the original toy collection launched in 2024, with products featuring experimental creatures and collectible figures. The animated storyline expands that world, following beasts brought to life through Pandemonium, the living energy of creativity.
The first 10 animated shorts were originally designed to test the possibilities of animation production and attracted more than 66 million views. The toy brand was also named the world’s No. 1 toy brand across Circana’s G12 markets in 2024.
