Noah Wyle recently shared how his household reacted to him being named People Magazine‘s “Sexiest Man Alive” on October 27, 2026.
In a recent interview, the Emmy-winning actor shared his children’s reactions.
“My son is super practical. He was like, ‘Oh, this is going to make my life so much harder now. But that’s cool, Dad. But also you know, you invite a lot of haters too,’” the actor said of his eldest child, 23-year-old Owen Strausser Wyle’s reaction.
Noah Wyle is Prepared For Getting Teased For His Sexiest Man Alive Title
The Pitt actor expressed humor about getting teased regarding his selection as “Sexiest Man Alive.” He shared that his 20-year-old daughter, Auden Florence Wyle would not leave any chance to tease him in the future.
“My older daughter was just like, ‘No way, no way.’ Because I think she’s going to tease me about this for the next 50 years,” Noah explained.
He also admitted he is expecting his friends and family to mock him.
“I am going to take a lot of ribbing from friends and family for sure,” Noah continued.
Noah Wyle Said His Wife Sara Wells Was Impressed By His Latest Accolade
The 55-year-old American actor revealed that he was shocked and thought it was a “prank” after discovering that the magazine chose him to be on its coveted annual honour.
“I thought that sounded like a prank — just not in a million years did I think that this would be an honour bestowed on me,” Noah added.
He further revealed that his wife, Sara Wells was pleased with his “2026 Sexiest Man Alive” title by People Magazine.
“She was very pleased that this confers well on her taste… She thinks I’m a good guy and that the kind of person that I am and the kind of father I am, the kind of husband I am is, is worth promoting,” the ER actor added.

The American television director has been married to Wells since June 7, 2014. They met in 2010 and dated for four years. The couple shares an 11-year-old daughter, Frances Harper Wyle.
Noah married his first wife, Tracy Warbin in 2000. They divorced in 2010 after separating in 2009. They share two children, Owen and Auden.
