Get ready, Parents! A new one-hour Paw Patrol special is headed to screens in January, and today, Spin Master and Nickelodeon released the first look at this pup-tacular special. “Rocky’s Cat-astrophe,” starring Rocky the Eco-Pup, will premiere on January 30.
“Rocky’s Cat-astrophe” stars the PAW Patrol’s eco-friendly pup, Rocky, and his friend Percy, a kitten who lives in the junkyard. Mayor Humdinger launches a nefarious scheme that ends up ruining Percy’s home, so Rocky invites the kitten to spend the night at the Lookout.
Percy turns out to be a little bit more mischievous than he let on, leaving Rocky trying to take care of the “zippy” kitty. Rocky tries to do everything himself but quickly learns that the best leaders are those who know when to ask for help.
The New Special Is The Latest In a Series
Last May, Spin Master (the brains behind the massively popular show) announced five different 1-hour specials. Each one of these standalone stories puts a different character in the spotlight. “Valiente: A Tracker Story” was released in the fall and starred pup Tracker and his caretaker, Carlos. Over the holiday season, Rubble took the lead in “A PAW Patrol Christmas.”
