On Monday, November 2, 2026, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum shared a series of posts on Instagram Stories showing the mother-daughter duo enjoying the NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.
“Built-in bestie,” the 49-year-old actress wrote while sharing a selfie with her 17-year-old teenage daughter.
The pair was all smiles in the photo, which was captured at SoFi Stadium. They reportedly shared a remarkable similarity and wore dark shades with their hair in a center part.

Back in September this year, Gellar celebrated her daughter, Charlotte’s 17th birthday. The Scooby-Doo took to social media and shared a rare photo of the duo.
“Yesterday was my best friend’s birthday, @charlotteprinze. I’m not sure how you are 17 already,” Gellar wrote.
The Cruel Intentions star sweetly thanked her daughter for making her a mom, adding, “Now you are the person that brings out the best in me. (Not to mention my biggest champion) Thank you… for being you.”
Meanwhile, the All My Children star also shared some snaps from a family outing on her Instagram account last month.
“Race weekend with my boys,” the actress captioned the post.
Gellar went to the go-karting track with her son, Rocky James Prinze and husband, Freddie Prinze Jr. After the actress shared the images, fans were quick to notice in the comments section how similar the youngster looked to his I Know What You Did Last Summer actor dad.

In a previous interview, the actress admitted that becoming a mother has shifted her priorities.
“I’ve done some pretty amazing things. I’ve hosted Saturday Night Live. I’ve traveled the world. But for me, all that pales in comparison to bedtime [with my kids],” Gellar said.
She revealed that motherhood has become the most meaningful part of her life, adding, “For me, it offered a missing part of myself that I never knew I was missing.”
