With three daughters and a son at home I can say with certainty that boys and girls of all ages love this show at a young age. My 3 year old is currently experiencing Vampirina for the first time and she is glued to the screen for each episode. I will say that the show doesn't take itself too seriously, which is partly why it's fun for kids. It really leans in heavy to showcasing differences, friendship, and teamwork, and doesn't go too far outside of what it's good at. It's a simple show and that's part of its charm. My kids have also loved all the "adorable" monsters who have their own unique personalities.
Pros
- Fun familiar "monsters."
- Simple lessons that kids understand quickly.
- Episodes keep a child's attention the entire time.
Cons
- Kids age out of the show pretty quickly.
