ESRB Age Rating Summary:

Death Note Killer Within is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Alcohol Reference, Fantasy Violence, and Mild Blood. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases. This is a social deduction game, based on the anime Death Note, in which players assume the role of either a killer or the detective trying to find the killer's identity. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players control puppet-like investigators (i.e., chibi figures) through a game board, collecting clues found in crime scenes and character interactions. As the killer, players can pass judgment on criminals and use traps to kill investigators. Cutscene depict the deaths of characters, typically those affected by the Death Note: a character shot by a pop gun; a character flattened by a speeding truck; a character burning to death inside a house; a character sent to the gallows. One crime scene depicts a small bloody pentagram on the ground next to a body outlined in chalk. During the course of the game, a recurring character is depicted holding a wine bottle; the text also references alcohol periodically ("Want to get a drink after this?").
