Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream (2024)

SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Language, Mild Blood, Suggestive Themes, and Violence. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases. This is an action role-playing game in which players help heroes in their attempts to save virtual worlds. From a third-person perspective, players explore fantastical game worlds, complete quests, interact with characters, and engage in melee-style combat with creatures (e.g., lizardmen, gremlins, androids). Characters use swords, axes, maces, and magic to defeat enemies; some characters use machines guns and sniper rifles, shooting enemies from first- and third-person perspectives. Combat is accompanied by impact sounds, realistic gunfire, and cries of pain. Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence: a man shot in the head by a sniper; a woman impaled by a sword. Some sequences depict still images of characters with blood-stained hands and drips of blood on their bodies. The game contains suggestive material: still images of female characters in revealing outfits (e.g., low-cut tops; deep cleavage; partially exposed breasts); one still-image sequence depicts a character falling and accidentally groping a character's breast. The word “sh*t” appears in the game.
