A woman on TikTok, username @hottgirlseatpickles shared a video about how her best friend and ex’s marriage news left her in disbelief.
“Story time about my ex and my best friend getting married,” she captioned the post.
The woman who recorded her video, sitting in a car and wearing black sunglasses, claimed that her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend were engaged to be married right after her breakup with the guy.
In the 6-minute-long video, she shared that she was using fake names and asked her followers to “not get into it with any of their family members on social media, because I’ve already dealt with that.”
Woman Revealed She Was Friends With The Girl For Six Years
In the video, which gathered 14.2 million views on TikTok, the woman confirmed that she and her boyfriend were together for about a year and a half.
“We lived together, we had a dog together. We broke up, um, beginning of January,” she said.
Detailing her friendship with the girl, she said they were friends for about five to six years and that she would have considered her a “sister.”
“I was very close with her parents. She was there for me in a lot of dark times. I feel like I was there for her. I told her pretty much everything about my life,” she recalled.
She continued in the video that she told her best friend that she and her boyfriend started having consistent issues during their time at her home in Pennsylvania during the holidays.
“I’m kind of Conflicted on what to do,” she recalled telling her best friend when she told her to “break up with him.”
“She’s telling me, ‘I deserve better,'” she added.
Woman Said They ‘Never Really Had Nice Things To Say About Each Other’
In the video, she further revealed that in mid-January she broke up with her boyfriend and moved in with her best friend.
“She always said he wasn’t attractive. He always said she was very outgoing. I’ll word it that way,” she added.
While the TikTok user admitted that the two never had any good things to say about each other, they were caught.
“My ex best friend and my ex boyfriend. They were shopping together,” she added.
She recalled confronting them both, adding, “I text them both a paragraph about how I felt about that situation, and she kind of just responded with, ‘This was never supposed to happen.'”
She further revealed that she found out through the Grapevine that they were engaged.
“In all seriousness, I laugh about the situation frequently. I think it’s hilarious. I, maybe I can’t process it yet,” she concluded her video.
