The woman, who shared a TikTok video on her channel @tasiajewelx after checking into her hotel, said she has flown exclusively with Delta for years. She called the encounter “the weirdest experience” she has had getting off a plane.
A frequent Delta Air Lines flyer said she was left shaken after a flight attendant admitted to photographing her while she slept on a flight to Mexico City, then joked about posting the image online.
The Moment Off The Plane That Made Flying Uncomfortable

She said exhaustion caught up with her during the roughly three-hour flight. She had just attended the Formula One race in Austin, Texas and stayed in the state rather than going home so she could continue on to Mexico City, where she is hosting group trips.
“I slept for like an hour and a half, maybe an hour and 40 minutes,” she said.

As passengers exited, a group of three or four male flight attendants stood near the door to say goodbye, as crews often do. One of them addressed her directly, she said.
“He said, ‘Hey, yo friend, I took a picture of you while you were sleeping,’” she recalled. “I literally went, ‘What?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, I might just post it on Facebook,'” she added.
The other flight attendants laughed and one remarked that she had been “knocked out.”
“Like, God forbid a girl sleeps, is tired,” the woman said.

She said she responded with an expletive and walked away. She added that she believes the crew member expected her to laugh it off.
“I’m sure he thought my response should be, ‘Ha ha, yeah, I was so tired, oh my God, you caught me slipping.’ No, that is really weird to say that you took a picture of someone sleeping,” the TikToker said.
How One Flight Incident Became a Concern of Women’s Safety

The woman said she felt “incredibly unsafe” after the exchange and that it spoiled her entire day. She called on the airline to act.
“I don’t care if you think I’m being dramatic. This flight attendant needs to be fired, and this needs to be rectified for me,” she said.
The woman also urged other women to stay alert while traveling. She said she was fortunate to be meeting a group of people at her destination.
“Ladies, women, be safe when you’re traveling,” she noted.
