I love watching movies with my kids, but many newer family films feel more focused on constant stimulation than meaningful storytelling. That’s why I still reach for the classics I grew up with. They’re packed with heart, memorable characters, and lessons that stick with you.
What surprises me most is that they still capture the attention of kids who consume entertainment very differently today.
Best of all, they give us something to enjoy together that’s more rewarding than 90 minutes of chasing the next dopamine hit.
Hook
