Jeremy Renner recently shared a sweet father-daughter moment with his only child, Ava Berlin Renner.
On October 23, 2026, the Marvel actor attended the 24th annual Alice nella Città film festival at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Rome, Italy, with his 13-year-old daughter.
Why Was Jeremy Renner in Rome?
The Hawkeye star was reportedly in Rome for the Italian debut of his book, My Next Breath: A Memoir. The book details his harrowing 2023 snowplow accident and his long recovery journey.
On the red carpet, Jeremy sported a gray suit. He paired his suit with a blue button-down shirt and a black tie. The actor accessorized his look with distressed dress shoes.
Meanwhile, his daughter wore a black long-sleeve top paired with a light pink maxi skirt. She finished her look with a pair of nude heels.
Jeremy also shared a carousel of images on Instagram featuring Ava and his time touring in Rome.
“A beautiful week shared with my daughter, students, and a gorgeous community in Rome Italy 🇮🇹. Sharing stories of film, survival, and purposeful living always reminds me how wonderful life is shared… thank you for all those who shared,” he wrote.
Notably, the outing comes three years after the actor returned to the red carpet for the premiere of his Disney+ docuseries Rennervations in 2023.
Jeremy Renner’s Relationship With Ava Explored
Jeremy welcomed his daughter, Ava, with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco in 2013. The pair filed for divorce in 2014, after just ten months of their marriage.
The star became a dad later in life at the age of 42. In a previous interview, the 55-year-old actor revealed that his daughter helped with his recovery.
“My daughter, for sure, number one. And then my family, and then my will. It’s like, well, if I was going to go, I guess, it’s one or the other. There’s no alternative to like, ‘Alright, I’m going to be living so, let’s go really live and get it done.’ So there’s no alternative. I have to kind of do something,” Jeremy said.
Jeremy also shared a sweet Father’s Day tribute on Instagram in June last year.
“One of the best parts about being a father is the pleasure of watching you grow; Blossoming into your potential is the most magnificent reward I can receive,” the Avengers star wrote.
In the social media post, the actor shared a picture of doing a planting activity with young Ava, whose face he hid with a red heart emoji.
“To my everything, my only thing, my number one … thank you for the love and reason to get stronger, faster, and better than before…. This day, like everyday signifies the blessing to know why I am here!” Happy Father’s Day pop and to all Fathers who prioritize their children!!!” Jeremy concluded his post.
