Sarah Michelle Gellar recently shared a rare photo of her son, Rocky James Prinze and fans were reminded of someone.
On October 26, 2026, the I Know What You Did Last Summer actress gave fans a peek inside her world with her 14-year-old son.
“Race weekend with my boys,” Gellar wrote, sharing numerous photos on Instagram.
The post captured the teenager sporting a buzzcut and dressed up for the racetrack. It also included some shots of her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr.

After Gellar shared what her family was up to on the weekend, fans couldn’t help but note that Rocky looked so much like his father.

Gellar and Prinze Jr. have been together for decades. The pair met on the set of the 1997 cult-classic horror film, I Know What You Did Last Summer.
After romantically reconnecting a few years later, the couple got engaged in 2001. The Scooby-Doo costars tied the knot at a resort in Mexico in 2002, when Gellar was 24 and Prinze was 26.
Earlier this year, the couple celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. Gellar marked the occasion with a sweet social media tribute.
“@realfreddieprinze can you imagine telling these kids where they would be 24 years later (well tech 26… but 24 married) #happyanniversary,” she wrote while sharing a few snaps from when they were young.
Notably, Gellar and Prinze Jr. share two kids. They occasionally share outings with their kids on social media.
