Good news for Bluey fans: Bluey Book Reads is back for a third season, bringing more beloved Bluey stories to life with a lineup of celebrity readers. The digital-exclusive series premiered September 8, 2026, with new episodes released weekly on the official Bluey YouTube channel and Bluey.tv.

The new season features celebrities reading some of the most popular Bluey storybooks, encouraging families to make time for reading, imagination and play. The series is also part of BBC Studios’ global Play The Bluey Way campaign, which encourages families to incorporate more play into everyday life.

The premiere features Australian actress and author Isla Fisher reading Bingo. The story follows Bingo as she tries to find ways to entertain herself while Bluey is visiting Chloe, eventually discovering that being alone doesn’t have to mean being bored.

Fisher said becoming part of the series was “such an incredible honour,” adding that Bluey understands something deeply Australian about how “love is hidden inside teasing, games and simply showing up.”

Famous Faces Are Reading Bluey

Families will recognize plenty of familiar names among this season’s celebrity readers. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Sia, Academy Award-nominated actress Toni Collette and 10 Things I Hate About You star Julia Stiles are all lending their voices to Bluey stories.

The lineup extends well beyond Hollywood. YouTube star DanTDM, fashion personality Tan France, and three-time Grand Slam tennis champion Ash Barty are also joining the series.

Other readers include Emmy-winning actress Wunmi Mosaku, The White Lotus star Will Sharpe and Australian actor Noah Taylor. Their participation gives each story its own distinctive voice while bringing some serious star power to family storytime.

Episodes include Collette reading Cricket, France reading Bedroom, Sia reading Granny Mobile, Stiles reading BBQ, and Barty reading The Decider.

Bluey Book Reads Is Already a Huge Hit

The success of Bluey Book Reads shows just how much families enjoy extending the Bluey experience beyond the television series. The first season launched in February 2024 with Kylie Minogue and Dannii Minogue reading Mini Bluey together.

Since its debut, Bluey Book Reads has generated more than 91 million views across Bluey’s digital channels. That’s a remarkable audience for a series built around something as simple and timeless as reading a children’s book.

The show’s reach is part of an even bigger Bluey digital phenomenon. The official Bluey YouTube channel has accumulated more than 11.8 billion lifetime views, giving the new season an enormous built-in audience.

With ten new episodes scheduled through November 10, families have plenty of opportunities to make Bluey Book Reads part of their next storytime. And with new celebrity readers joining the Heelers, there’s a good chance parents will enjoy watching along, too.
