Although I leave my red, white, and blue up in my home through Labor Day, I also like to add a little touch of summer to my household décor. I also love making wreaths for my home for each season and holiday of the year. I buy the majority of my supplies for super cheap at the dollar store, so I can make more than one wreath each season. I always hang wreaths on my front and back doors. For summer, I created a small pink, blue, green, and coral wreath decorated with foam glitter flower stickers.
Materials
- Willow wreath
- Pink, blue, green, and coral burlap ribbon
- Pink, blue, green, and coral pipe cleaners
- Foam flower stickers
- Green ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Cut the pipe cleaners into 2-inch pieces.
- Form a loop at one end of the pink burlap ribbon.
- Secure the loop to the wreath with a pipe cleaner.
- Continue securing loops around the outside and inside edge of the wreath. Alternate between the outside and inside.
- Repeat with the blue, green, and coral burlap ribbon.
- Fluff up the burlap ribbon loops.
- Use hot glue to decorate the wreath with the foam glitter flower stickers.
- Tie a piece of green ribbon on the back of the wreath as a hanger.
- Display the burlap ribbon summer flower wreath.
