D is for donut! Make a fun donut craft to help your preschooler learn about the letter Dd using paper plates, paint, shaving cream, glue, and seed beads.
Materials
- White paper plates
- Brown and other colors of paint
- Scissors
- White glue
- Shaving cream
- Plastic cup
- Plastic spoon
- Paint brushes
- Seed beads
Instructions
- Cut the center from a paper plate with the scissors.
- Paint the bottom of the plate brown.
- Allow the brown paint to try thoroughly.
- Combine an equal amount of glue and shaving cream in the plastic cup.
- Add colored paint to the glue and shaving cream mixture.
- Stir together thoroughly.
- Front the donut by spreading the puffy paint around the center of the brown paper plate.
- Sprinkle seed beads on the wet puffy paint.
- Allow the craft to dry thoroughly.
- Display the D Is for Donut paper plate craft.
