From Incredibles 3 to Coco 2 and Marvel’s next generation of superheroes, Disney gave fans plenty to look forward to.

Disney’s annual D23 conference has long been the spot where first looks, big cast news and new projects are announced. This year is no different, with first looks at ‘The Bluey Movie,’ Pixar’s ‘Ghost Market’ and ‘Frozen 3.’ But that wasn’t all that the House of Mouse has been cooking up. Here are some of the announcements from D23 that parents and kids can look forward to.

‘Incredibles 3’ Puts The Focus On The Parr Kids
Disney and Pixar gave fans their first major look at Incredibles 3, and this time, the Parr children are taking center stage. Concept art presented at D23 shows Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack sneaking out at night to protect their city while keeping their superhero activities secret from Bob and Helen.
The movie won’t make a major time jump despite the long wait since Incredibles 2, meaning the kids remain roughly the same ages. Peter Sohn, director of Elemental and The Good Dinosaur, is taking over directing duties from Brad Bird for the June 16, 2028 release.

Clay, Kingdom Hearts, Coco 2 and Zootopia 3
Disney Animation also announced Clay, an original movie scheduled for November 2028. Directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn, the film follows Flip, a reluctant mentor voiced by Kieran Culkin, who must guide a young ball of clay named Mushy through a chaotic adventure.
Pixar, meanwhile, showed the first image from Coco 2, with Miguel now a teenager still chasing his dream of becoming a musician. The sequel is scheduled for November 2029 and will see Miguel return to the Land of the Dead while Ernesto de la Cruz seeks revenge.
Disney also officially confirmed Zootopia 3, although story details and a release date remain under wraps. The company announced an animated Kingdom Hearts series as well, expanding the Disney-connected video-game franchise into a new format.

Star Wars, Doomsday and the X-Men Take Over
The live-action slate was just as ambitious. Star Wars: Starfighter, starring Ryan Gosling, received first-look footage and is headed to theaters in 2027, while Avengers: Doomsday received another preview featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
Perhaps the biggest Marvel announcement was the new X-Men movie, scheduled for May 2028. The newly announced cast includes Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister.
With animated originals, established franchises and major live-action properties stretching through the end of the decade, D23 made one thing clear: Disney isn’t slowing down—it’s building an enormous movie pipeline for the years ahead.
