Mistletoe is a leathery-leaved parasitic plant that bears white berries in the winter. Kissing under the mistletoe is a popular tradition during the Christmas season. When I was a kid, my mom had a sprig of plastic mistletoe that hung in the doorway at the bottom of the stairs. I always wanted my own bunch of mistletoe to hang in my own house for my family. This year I pulled out my craft supplies and made my own kissing ball using green pipe cleaners, green felt, and white pompoms.
