A woman said she was dropping out of her best friend’s wedding after allegedly catching the bride with another man during her bachelorette party. The woman, who had spent four months organizing the celebration, said she found the bride inside a bathroom stall with a stranger while the rest of the group was preparing to leave.
The woman, with TikTok username SpicyNat and user ID @lovespicycubes1, shared the video and explained why she no longer wanted to serve as maid of honor or attend the wedding.
Bride Allegedly Made Bridesmaids Pay Nearly $400 for Dresses
The woman said, “So first of all, she’s been the biggest bridezilla I’ve ever met in my entire life. Okay, she’s been a whole other person, an alter ego unlocked that I just don’t like.”
One issue involved the bridesmaid dresses, which allegedly cost almost $400 each. She described them as basic dresses that should not have been that expensive. She said, “And one of the other bridesmaids literally said that she was going to go get another dress that was similar to it, just a different, like, it has a different material, basically.”
The maid of honor said she told the bridesmaid it was fine to buy the more affordable option. However, the bride allegedly disagreed and told the woman she would be removed from the wedding if she did not return the alternative dress and purchase the one she had chosen.
The situation reportedly led several bridesmaids to withdraw from the wedding.
“She went from 10 bridesmaids to now four,” the woman said. She added that her own decision to leave would leave the bride with no maid of honor.
Maid of Honor Spent Four Months Planning the Bachelorette Party
Despite the tension, the woman said she spent four months organizing the bachelorette party because the bride had a long list of things she wanted included.
The group went out for dinner, took photographs and visited clubs and a casino.
At the end of the night, the women had planned to return home. The maid of honor said she was looking forward to going back to her partner, while the bride was supposed to return to her fiancé.
Their Uber arrived, but the group could not find the bride. The woman said she asked the other bridesmaids to keep looking while she checked the restroom because she needed to use it anyway.
She Found the Bride in a Bathroom Stall With a Stranger
The maid of honor said she entered the restroom and heard activity coming from one of the stalls. She looked underneath the door and saw the bride’s shoes alongside a pair of men’s shoes. She then knocked to check whether her friend was okay.
Per her account, the door suddenly opened and an unidentified man ran past her. “And then there’s her standing there, looking like she’d seen a ghost,” she recalled. The maid of honor said the bride immediately begged her not to tell anyone what had happened.
Bride’s Alleged Logic and the Woman’s Question to Her Viewers
The woman said the bride repeatedly asked her to keep the encounter secret, explaining that she wanted to enjoy her final moments before getting married.
“She goes, please don’t tell anybody, please don’t tell anybody, please, please, I’m begging you, like this is my last moment of freedom, my last moment being single,” the TikTok creator recalled.
The maid of honor said she was shocked by the explanation because her friend was still engaged.
“I don’t endorse cheating. I don’t care who you are. I don’t condone it,” she said.
The two women reportedly argued before the maid of honor said she was too tired to continue and wanted to leave.
After returning home, the woman said she told her partner what had happened during the bachelorette party, who advised her to let the fiancé know.
She asked, “So what do I do? Do I tell him or just not show up and make him wonder why she went from 10 bridesmaids to three?”
