Threading small items onto a line helps young children develop and refine the fine motor skills necessary for writing. During our preschool homeschool lesson on reptiles, my daughter and I created pony bead snakes.
Materials
- Pipe cleaner
- Pony beads
Directions
- Twist one end of the pipe cleaner around a bead.
- Thread the pony beads onto the pipe cleaner.
- Twist the other end of the pipe cleaner around the final bead.
