Parenting tweets hit differently. While we’re often served with hilarious tweets about everyday life on X and other platforms, parents’ trials and tribulations with their kids are a funny breed of their own. From “waking up the baby” out of “boredom” to kids asking a lot of “why” questions that made one parent feel like they know very little about a lot of subjects, these parenting tweets perfectly sum up so many aspects of raising little versions of ourselves.
Why? Why? Why?
As the parent of four young children, I’ve gone through the “Why” phase way more than I’d like to recall. I’ve also suffered the same fate as X user @parhloumahrukh. There’s so much that I don’t know. In all fairness, my children ask a lot of bizarre questions.
That’s A Heck Of A Power Play Kiddo
For whatever reason, I see this type of tweet response way too often. I always recall the saying, “Leave home now when you know everything.” Katie’s take on her daughter’s response as a “power play” move now makes me question my children’s similar responses. With over 12,000 views, it appears other parents are also interested in this type of power-play scenario with their own kids. Check her out on X.
All KPIs Are To Be Reported To Boss Mommy
Mommy is definitely the boss in my home. My kids know it, I know it, and our two dogs and two cats know it. Young children’s radical honesty is scarily accurate, and hilarious. @milifeasdad definitely struck a chord with this tweet, and the nearly 4,000 likes it has received at publishing.
You Can Have My Name For Free
This child has taken the “sharing is caring” motto to the extreme. She’s not even going to charge Miranda for using her name. Also, I have to hand it to this mom: two and a half weeks is a long time to go without naming a child; that’s a lot of extra time spent thinking about the perfect name for her newborn daughter. I want to follow her X account just to learn what name she eventually chooses.
These Littles Are Giving Penn And Teller A Run For Their Money
First, I must hand it to this X user for her @girl_fieri handle. Second, as a huge fan of Penn and Teller, I immediately got the same vibes before I read the end of her tweet. Can we all agree that the one-year-old is already advanced from her age? If she starts performing magic by two years old, I’ll start looking for their Vegas show tickets.
Frozen Nuggets? Not Anymore
I love this hilarious parenting tweet from @clhubes. First, she tried something new and found something new for her children to love. Second, she managed to poke a little bit of fun at the entire “make everything fresh” movement. In my experience, I try whole-ingredient cooking and spend a lot more time in the kitchen before I’m back to my old ways. Good luck on your homemade food journey, momma.
