More “Lost” Cartoon Favorites Coming FAST Streamer In August
Tubi is continuing its effort to make hard-to-find animated favorites available to viewers, announcing another wave of classic Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network programming arriving on the free streaming platform this August.
The latest additions include several fan-favorite series and specials that have become increasingly difficult to find on major streaming services in recent years. The move is part of a broader initiative that has seen Tubi become an unexpected destination for animation fans looking to revisit beloved shows from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
The announcement follows growing enthusiasm among parents who have spent years searching for legal ways to watch many of these titles. A free “FAST” (Free Ad Supported Television) service, Tubi has increasingly positioned itself as a home for content rescued from the Warner Bros. vaults, helping preserve shows that may parents grew up with.
The Biggest Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Additions
Among the most notable arrivals is The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, the dark comedy series that became one of Cartoon Network’s most successful original programs. Fans will also be able to revisit its predecessor, Grim & Evil, which introduced many of the characters and concepts that later evolved into the hit series.
Other major additions include the Emmy-winning superhero parody Freakazoid!, the critically acclaimed Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and the wrestling-inspired animated comedy ¡Mucha Lucha!.
Tubi’s August lineup also features several animated event specials and movies, including Billy & Mandy Save Christmas and Codename: Kids Next Door – Operation Z.E.R.O. Rounding out the collection are the visually ambitious Looney Tunes 3D Shorts, bringing classic Warner Bros. characters into a modern animated format.
A Larger Deal to Unlock the Warner Bros. Vault
The latest additions are part of a broader content partnership announced earlier this year between Tubi and Warner Bros. Discovery. According to Tubi, the agreement significantly expanded the streamer’s access to films and television programming from Warner Bros.’ extensive library.
“Tubi has become a destination for fans seeking premium entertainment at no cost,” the company said when announcing the partnership, adding that the deal would bring “beloved fan-favorite titles” to the service.
Collider reported that the arrangement allows Tubi to stream a growing collection of content pulled directly from the Warner Bros. archives, giving new audiences a chance to discover classic animation while longtime fans revisit childhood favorites. With Tubi remaining completely free to viewers, the platform has quickly become one of the most important homes for preserving and showcasing animation history.
