Storyline

In this episode, young Bennett visits his father's shampoo factory, eager to see where the family business creates its products. During the tour, Bennett's curiosity gets the better of him, and he accidentally triggers a mishap that releases an entire army of sasquatches that had been hidden or contained within the factory. What begins as an innocent field trip quickly spirals into chaos as the sasquatches run amok through the facility.

Bennett must navigate the consequences of his mistake, working to contain the situation before it gets completely out of hand. The episode blends the show's signature time-travel premise with slapstick comedy as Bennett tries to manage the sasquatch invasion while keeping his father from discovering the full extent of the disaster. The factory setting provides plenty of opportunities for physical comedy and mishaps as Bennett learns that even small actions can have unexpectedly large consequences.

What kids learn

This episode teaches children about taking responsibility for their mistakes, even when those mistakes lead to unexpected and overwhelming consequences. Bennett's accidental release of the sasquatches demonstrates how curiosity, while natural and often positive, needs to be balanced with caution and respect for rules—especially in unfamiliar environments like a factory with potentially dangerous equipment or situations.

Young viewers also learn about problem-solving under pressure. Rather than running away from the chaos he created, Bennett must think quickly and work to fix the situation. This models accountability and resilience, showing children that owning up to errors and working to make things right is more important than avoiding blame or pretending nothing happened.

The episode also touches on the relationship between parents and children in a work context. Bennett's visit to his father's workplace offers a window into understanding what parents do during the day and respecting the professional environments they navigate. Children can learn that their actions in these spaces have real consequences and that listening to instructions and boundaries is essential.

Parents' top 5 questions

QuestionAnswer
Is the sasquatch invasion scary for younger children? The sasquatch army is played for comedy rather than genuine fright. The episode uses slapstick humor and exaggerated situations to keep the tone light and adventurous. Younger or more sensitive children might find the chaos overwhelming, but the sasquatches themselves are not depicted as threatening monsters. Parents know their child's tolerance for chaotic scenes best and can reassure them that Bennett is working to fix the problem throughout.
What should I tell my child about touching things that don't belong to them? This episode provides a natural opportunity to discuss boundaries and respecting other people's property and workspaces. You can explain that Bennett's curiosity led to a big problem because he touched something without permission or understanding what it would do. Reinforce that it's always better to ask first, especially in unfamiliar places, and that adults set rules to keep everyone safe, not to spoil fun.
Does Bennett face real consequences for his mistake?Bennett spends the episode actively trying to contain and reverse the chaos he caused, which demonstrates accountability. While the show keeps things lighthearted, Bennett's efforts to fix the situation model taking responsibility rather than deflecting blame. Parents can use this to discuss how making amends and working to solve problems we create is an important part of growing up and earning trust.
Is there any educational content about how factories or businesses work? The factory setting offers a glimpse into a production environment, showing children a behind-the-scenes look at where everyday products like shampoo come from. While the episode prioritizes comedy and adventure over detailed education, it does introduce the concept of manufacturing and the workplace. Parents can expand on this by talking about their own jobs or how different products are made.
How does this episode fit into the show's time-travel premise? The sasquatch release ties into the show's broader concept of Bennett receiving advice from his future self to navigate tricky situations. The episode uses the time-travel framework to add comedic layers to Bennett's problem-solving, showing how his choices in the present create ripple effects. Parents don't need deep familiarity with the series to enjoy this episode, as it works as a standalone adventure with a clear beginning and resolution.
