A woman said she was left shaken at her gynecologist’s office after a gun clip and bullets fell to the floor in a crowded waiting room.

TikTok creator Kristin, who posts as @planner_mom, said the ammunition dropped when a man sitting near her shifted in his seat. She noted that she never saw a gun, which left her unsure whether to speak up. Minutes later, she said, the man stopped a nurse and asked to see his wife.

What Kristin Said Happened

Kristin said she was at the office for one of her regular visits when she noticed the man already waiting in the lobby.

She stated that she did not think much of him until he shifted and the clip and bullets hit the floor. Her heart sank, she said. The two looked at each other afterward, but she still could not see a weapon.

That left her wondering why he had ammunition with him and why he was at the office.

The Man Wanted to See His Wife

Kristin said she spent several minutes debating whether to tell someone. She stayed seated because she had not seen a gun. Less than five minutes later, the man went to the door leading to the offices and stopped a nurse. He said he needed to see his wife.

After asking for the woman’s name, the nurse reportedly told him his wife was getting her labs done. The man allegedly repeated that he needed to talk to her, and the nurse took him to the back. Kristin said he came out less than 30 seconds later and left.

By then, she had been taken to an exam room. Even after he left, she still felt rattled and considered locking the door. She later asked viewers whether she should have said something.

How Viewers Reacted

Many commenters thought she should have spoken up.

One said that if the account was accurate, she should have walked out and called the police. Another echoed the familiar safety advice: “If you see something, say something.”

Several others pointed to gun ownership and carrying laws, arguing that ammunition alone does not show the man meant to hurt anyone.

Her account does not state what the man intended or why he needed to see his wife.

What to Keep in Mind

The video showed how quickly an ordinary appointment can turn tense when something feels off. Anyone who feels unsafe in a public place such as a medical office can quietly let staff know, even without being certain of a threat.
