A Is for Alligator Paper Plate Craft

A is for alligator! Make a fun alligator craft to help your preschooler learn about the letter Aa using paper plates, paint, and construction paper.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Paint the top of one paper plate green.
  2. Paint the bottom of another paper plate green.
  3. Paint the top of the second paper plate red.
  4. Cut triangles from the white paper, a long tongue shape from the red paper, two large circles from the white paper, and two small circles from the black paper.
  5. Fold the green and red plate in half with the red on the inside.
  6. Glue the white triangles around the edge of the folded red plate with the triangle points pointing out.
  7. Glue the folded plate onto the full green plate.
  8. Glue the tongue inside the folded plated.
  9. Glue the black circles on the center of the white circles.
  10. Glue the eyes on the green plate above the mouth.
  11. Display the A Is for Alligator paper plate craft.
