Although my daughter is only twenty months old, I am already thinking about the day that she starts school. Because she is very social and has liked the classes that she has already attended such as Kindermusik and library story hour, my husband and I are pretty sure that we will enroll her in a local preschool when she turns three.

With preschool comes the need for name labels. So, when Bright Star Kids recently approached me about reviewing a personalized label pack, I jumped at the opportunity. I chose the Preschool & Daycare Labels Kit in green with the ladybug icon and the Kiddie font. The Preschool & Daycare Labels Kit comes with 160 labels, which includes ten (10) large stick on labels, thirty (30) small stick on labels, eighty (80) tiny pencil labels, thirty (30) clothing tag labels, and ten (10) pairs of shoe labels. Also included are ten (10) pairs of clear shoe label covers.

When my Preschool & Daycare Labels Kit arrived, I was immediately impressed with the design and color. I chose green because my daughter loves the color green. I chose the ladybug icon because my daughter is my little ladybug. In addition to the green, you can also pick one of nine other colors such as red, blue, and purple. You can also chose from dozens of other icons including some health ones such as “No Nuts” and “Gluten Free.” The green with ladybug name labels that I picked out for my daughter are absolutely perfect for her.

As a stick aficionado, my daughter immediately loved her name labels. However, I set most of the school labels aside for later use because I want to use the labels on her school gear once she starts preschool. However, the labels that I did stick on to a few of her belongings are holding up beautifully. The labels are microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe. For example, the name label that I just on the side of her sippy cup is still pretty much pristine even after soaking in hot, soapy water. I feel confident that I can label my daughter’s lunch gear and school supplies with her Bright Star Kids labels without worrying about the labels falling or rubbing off. The iron on labels will be handy for marking her clothing: No more unsightly permanent marker labeling!

Final Verdict: At just $34.95 for the entire kit, each Bright Star Kids Preschool & Daycare Labels Kit label costs just 22 cents each, which is quite reasonable for personalized labels. I am very impressed with the variety of stickers in the kit, which make labeling all sizes of items possible. I can match the label to the item: big stickers for big items and tiny stickers for tiny items. I also absolutely love the design of the labels from the color to the icon to the font. I was able to match my labels to my daughter. If you are looking for name labels for your child or your home, I highly suggest checking out Bright Star Kids.
