Burlap and Ribbon St. Patrick’s Day Wreath Craft

Burlap and Ribbon St. Patrick's Day Wreath Craft

I am absolutely obsessed with making wreaths at the moment! I recently delved into the medium of burlap ribbon after a recent trip to the dollar store. With burlap, I can make rustic and fluffy wreaths with ease. I have been primarily focusing on fall wreaths, but I also picked up some green ribbon a few days ago that I intended to use to craft a St. Patrick’s Day wreath. However, I still needed some sort of background ribbon for the wreath. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review a classic rustic burlap roll from RichCraft in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

RichCraft Classic Rustic Burlap Roll

I received the classic rustic burlap roll with no-fray edges from RichCraft, which currently costs $9.99 on Amazon with a list price of $22.99. The burlap ribbon measures 6 inches by 10 yards. I typically buy my ribbon at the dollar store, but my inexpensive finds measure less and usually have unfinished edges. The edges on my RichCraft ribbon are serged to prevent fraying, especially during transportation. The roll is made from high-quality 10-ounce jute fibers. The low density weave makes the ribbon the perfect fabric for any rustic occasion or project.

I am incredibly happy with my classic rustic burlap roll from RichCraft. I decided to use the naturally-colored ribbon as the background of my St. Patrick’s Day. I used chenille pipe cleaners to attach the ribbon around the outside and inside edge of a wire wreath form. The burlap is easy to work with. The tight weave covers the wire frame nicely. I also really love the finished edges, which prevent fraying. The inexpensive burlap ribbon that I usually use has unfinished edges and sometimes frays terribly. I definitely appreciate the oversewing on the RichCraft roll! I also appreciate the long length of the roll, which allowed me to cover the entire frame in one go-around with a little bit leftover. I therefore definitely recommend the burlap rolls from RichCraft to fellow crafters. I am super excited to display my new wreath next March!

I may add some shamrocks or gold coins or something once St. Patrick’s Day stuff comes out. However, if I leave it like this, I can also display it in early fall and spring, so I’m not sure if I’ll add more lol!

Cute wreath!!!! I love St. Patrick’s Day and spring, but find it harder to decorate for them than Christmas. I’ll have to remember this post for future use.
