I have been cooking at home for my family more in recent weeks. However, we are getting tired of the same old recipes, so I have been experimenting with new flavors. I had some pork on hand a few days ago, and I made a delicious creamy paprika pork that my family loved.
Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 2 pounds of lean pork
- 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of paprika
- 1 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 8 ounces of low-fat cream cheese
Directions
- Slice the onion.
- Dice the pork.
- Spray the bottom of a large frying pan with cooking spray.
- Cook the sliced onion in the frying pan over medium heat until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and paprika to the onions.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the diced pork to the onions.
- Stir the pork until thoroughly cooked.
- Add the chicken broth to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cream cheese to the mixture and stir thoroughly.
- Serve the creamy paprika pork hot over pasta or rice.
- Refrigerate any uneaten creamy paprika pork.
