    Dark Chocolate Andes Peppermint Crunch Cookies Recipe

    I absolutely love baking cookies during the holiday season. I always bake all my favorite recipes and then try out a couple of new cookies too. I particularly enjoy whipping up many different types of cake mix cookies. To make some festive cookies with flavors perfect for the Christmas season, I made some dark chocolate Andes peppermint crunch cookies using dark chocolate cake mix and Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips. You can even freeze the cookies to enjoy later.

    Ingredients

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°.
    2. Beat together the softened butter, eggs, and water in a large bowl.
    3. Slowly add the cake mix to the butter mixture. Combine thoroughly.
    4. Stir one cup of Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips into the dough.
    5. Form 1-inch balls of cookie dough.
    6. Flatten the cookie dough balls and press the top into the extra baking chips.
    7. Place the cookie dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leave 2 inches between the balls.
    8. Bake the cookies for 9 minutes or until the bottoms begin to brown.
    9. Allow the baked cookies to rest for a minute before removing from the cookie sheet.
    10. Store the dark chocolate Andes peppermint crunch cookies in an airtight container.
