Now that autumn has arrived, I have decorated my home with all my handmade fall wreaths. I have also been making extra wreaths to give to family and friends and to donate to my local library wreath sale. I recently stocked up on deco mesh in autumn colors. One fun part about working with mesh and ribbon is that you can make your wreath as puffy and large as you desire. I also added some artificial Indian corn to one of my autumn wreaths as decoration.
Materials
- Wire wreath
- Brown and orange deco mesh
- Brown, orange, and yellow pipe cleaners
- Yellow ribbon
- Artificial Indian corn
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Cut the pipe cleaners into 2-inch pieces.
- Form a loop at one end of the orange deco mesh roll.
- Secure the loop to the wire wreath with an orange pipe cleaner.
- Continue securing loops around the outside and inside edge of the wreath. Alternate between the outside and inside.
- Repeat with the brown deco mesh and yellow ribbon.
- Fluff up the loops.
- Adding a hanger using the yellow ribbon to the top of the wreath.
- Use pipe cleaners and hot glue to decorate the wreath with the artificial Indian corn.
- Display the deco mesh Indian corn autumn wreath.
