The Elmer series from David McKee are popular books in my home. In addition to reading, making crafts is another favorite activity that I love doing with my kids. Last year after reading Elmer and the Rainbow, my daughter and I made our own patchwork rainbows.
Materials
Directions
- Draw the outline of a rainbow on the blank paper with the black marker.
- Cut the colored paper into small squares.
- Glue the colored squares into the rainbow outline.
