Chocolate Covered Pretzels Recipe

When I was a kid, my mom always made covered pretzels at Christmastime using vanilla almond bark. I am not a huge fan of the vanilla flavoring, so, this year, I decided to make chocolate almond bark covered pretzels. To make the chocolate covered pretzels even prettier, I even sprinkled some red and green colored sugar on the hot chocolate before allowing the decadent little treats to cool completely.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate bark in a double boiler.
  2. Dip the pretzels in the melted chocolate bark.
  3. Place the dipped pretzels on wax paper to cool.
  4. Immediately sprinkle colored sugar on the hot chocolate bark.
  5. Store the holiday chocolate covered pretzels in an airtight container.
