When I was a kid, my mom always made covered pretzels at Christmastime using vanilla almond bark. I am not a huge fan of the vanilla flavoring, so, this year, I decided to make chocolate almond bark covered pretzels. To make the chocolate covered pretzels even prettier, I even sprinkled some red and green colored sugar on the hot chocolate before allowing the decadent little treats to cool completely.
Ingredients
- pretzels
- chocolate bark
- red and green colored sugar
Directions
- Melt the chocolate bark in a double boiler.
- Dip the pretzels in the melted chocolate bark.
- Place the dipped pretzels on wax paper to cool.
- Immediately sprinkle colored sugar on the hot chocolate bark.
- Store the holiday chocolate covered pretzels in an airtight container.
