Simple Recipes for a Halloween Party

Happy Halloween! My kids and I recently hosted a Halloween party for two of our homeschool groups. In preparation for the event, we crafted some adorable paper plate ghosts and toilet paper roll pumpkins to use as decorations. I also whipped up some apple cider cake cookies, lavender lemon cookies, and lavender vanilla cookies to serve as snacks. In addition to the cookies that I baked, I also made some other super cute and super simple Halloween treats using a few basic ingredients.

In addition to all the spooky treats that I made, my family and I also wore our Peanuts costumes to the party. My hubby and I dressed as Charlie Brown and Sally. My kids went as Linus and Lucy Van Pelt. If you want to go simpler for a holiday party, you can also simply decorate your nails with some festive nail wraps from Glossique like the spooky red and black wraps that I recently applied to my fingernails for Halloween. Happy Halloween!
