As my kiddos and I prepare for the upcoming Halloween holiday, my daughter and I have been hard at work making all sorts of fun crafts. After delving into the world of origami, she and I recently made some folded paper bats.
Step 1
Fold the paper square in half diagonally and crease.
Step 2
Fold the long side of the triangle down and crease.
Step 3
Fold both corners of the long side down and crease.
Step 4
Fold back each corner and crease. The second crease should be parallel to the first.
Step 5
Use scissors to create two small snips on the top of the bat.
Step 6
Fold down the notch and crease.
Step 7
Use a black marker to draw a face on the bat.
