My daughter and I love making crafts for each holiday. While delving into the world of origami recently, she and I made some folded paper pumpkins for Halloween.
Step 1
Fold the paper square in half diagonally and crease.
Step 2
Fold the triangle in half and crease.
Step 3
Fold one corner of the triangle back and crease.
Step 4
Fold the other corner of the triangle back and crease.
Step 5
Unfold the previous two creases.
Step 6
Gently squash down one pocket formed by the previous two folds to form a square.
Step 7
Repeat on the second pocket to form a square.
Step 8
Fold both sides into the center and crease.
Step 9
Tuck the folds under.
Step 10
Fold the other sides into the center and crease.
Step 11
Tuck the folds under.
Step 12
Turn the square over and fold the corners in.
Step 13
Tape the corners down.
Step 14
Use a black maker to draw a face on the front of the pumpkin.
