Paper Tube Penguins Craft

Paper Tube Penguins Craft

I love helping my daughter make crafts, especially as part of our homeschool preschool activities. For a recent lesson on short and tall, she and I made a set of paper tube penguins, which also make for a fun winter craft as well as a visual teaching tool.

Materials

  • Paper tubes from paper towels and toilet paper
  • Black, white, and orange construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Google eyes

Directions

  1. Cut the paper tubes into various sizes.
  2. Cover each tube in black paper.
  3. Cut the white paper ovals. Cut the orange paper into three small triangles.
  4. Glue the ovals and triangles onto the black tubes to create penguin bellies and beaks.
  5. Glue the google eyes above the orange triangles.
