My kids and I have been having a blast the past few weeks making winter crafts. I have always loved painting. To share my hobby with my daughter while doing a winter-themed project, she and I recently made snow scenes using homemade puffy snow paint.
Materials
- White glue
- Shaving cream
- Glitter
- Blue construction paper
- Plastic cup
- Plastic spoon
- Paint brush
- Optional: Beads, jewels, and other decorating materials
Instructions
- Refrigerate the white glue and shaving cream until cold.
- Combine an equal amount of glue and shaving cream in the plastic cup.
- Stir together thoroughly.
- Add glitter to the glue mixture.
- Stir in the glitter.
- Use a paintbrush to paint the puffy snow paint onto the paper.
- Press the optional decorating materials onto the puffy snow paint.
- Allow the puffy snow paint to dry thoroughly.
