Total Package Girl: Discover the Ultimate You for Life! is broken into four sections. In addition to the introduction and end section, the book contains “Meet the Unstoppable Total Package Girl,” “Five Secret Weapons of the Total Package Girl,” “Absolute Reality,” and “Be the Total Package Girl for Life.” Each section is further broken down into smaller portions. Tween and teen girls can read the book over a long period of time instead of having to read huge chapters at once. The text is therefore quite accessible to older girls and young women.
In addition to providing text about being a “Total Package Girl,” the book also includes interactive sections for tweens and teens to fill out. Adolescence can be a difficult time, and the book offers tools for teenage girls to better navigate the years. I love that the book also includes all sorts of great advice for addressing all types of situations that girls might encounter. However, I especially appreciate the parts about interacting with parents. My daughter can have quite the attitude on her already (just like her mother!). Hopefully as she gets older and reads Total Package Girl: Discover the Ultimate You for Life!, she will realize that I am not the only one telling her that she will catch more flies with honey than with vinegar!
