Valentine’s Day is the next big holiday that my kids and I celebrate together. As soon as the holiday decorations have been boxed up and stored away for next year, I put up my red and pink heart décor. My kids and I also love making heart crafts in the weeks before Valentine’s Day. I am also absolutely obsessed with making wreaths for each holiday of the year to hang around my house. This year I picked up some heart craft materials from my local dollar store and crafted a simple but pretty shimmery pink and red wreath to hang on my door for Valentine’s Day.
Materials
- Foam wreath
- Pink duct tape
- Pink ribbon
- Red pipe cleaner
- Red and white tri-beads
- Foam hearts
- Jewel hearts
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Wrap the duct tape around the foam wreath.
- Tie and glue a piece of pink ribbon around the foam circle from which to hang the wreath.
- Thread the red and white tri-beads in an alternating pattern on the red pipe cleaner.
- Twist the ends of the pipe cleaner together.
- Bend the beaded pipe cleaner into a heart shape.
- Glue the beaded pipe cleaner heart onto the wreath.
- Glue the foam and jewels hearts onto the wreath.
- Display the duct tape Valentine’s Day wreath craft.
