Making a Simple Candy Cane Christmas Wreath

As a holiday fundraiser this year, the Friends at my local library sponsored a Festival of Wreaths. Because I love Christmas and I love crafting, I combined my two loves and donated a handmade wreath to the festival. My kids and I set out to Menards and began shopping for supplies in the Enchanted Forest section. After looking at all our options, my daughter and I decided to make a simple candy cane themed wreath using red, white, and silver decorations.

To make my candy cane wreath, I wrapped some white shimmer garland around the entire wreath. I secured the garland on the back side using a green twist tie. I then secured a large silver bow to the bottom of the wreath and small red bows around the rest. I finally added some small red Christmas balls to the wreath using more green twist ties. Viola! A simple candy cane Christmas wreath!
