Paper Plate Penguin Craft

Paper Plate Penguin Craft

When you look in my craft supplies, you will find quite a few household items including paper plates. For a recent winter-themed craft, my daughter and I made some simple but cute penguins made from paper plates.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Fold two sides of the paper plate in.
  2. Fold the resulting point of the paper plate down.
  3. Open up the paper plate.
  4. Paint of the backs of the folds black.
  5. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
  6. Refold the paper plate.
  7. Glue the folds down.
  8. Cut two feet and one triangle from the orange paper.
  9. Glue the two feet to the bottom back of the paper plate.
  10. Glue the orange triangle to the end of the glued down point.
  11. Glue two wiggle eyes above the orange triangle.
  12. Display the paper plate penguin.
