    Paper Plate Underwater Urchin Craft

    Paper Plate Underwater Urchin Craft

Crafts are fun tactile activities that I love to include during homeschooling with my children. Last spring during a preschool lesson on the letter U, my daughter and I created a simple underwater urchin craft from a paper plate that allowed her to practice her cutting skills while learning a word that started with the letter U.

    Materials

    Directions

    1. Paint the paper plate with the paint.
    2. After the paint dries, cut notches from around the edge of the plate to form spines.
    3. Glue the urchin on the blue paper.
