    Patriotic Wreath Craft

    Patriotic Wreath Craft

Since the middle of the summer, I have been busy making wreaths for my home and to donate to the annual wreath sale at my local library. For the summer months, I decorate my home in red, white, and blue décor. I have thus made a couple of patriotic wreaths that work from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I recently make a fun patriotic wreath using printed duct tape and tablecloths. I found all my supplies at the Dollar Tree.

    Materials

    • Foam wreath
    • Red, white, and blue plaid duct tape
    • Red, white, and blue plastic tablecloths
    • Glitter red, white, and blue table scatter
    • Red ribbon
    • Hot glue

    Instructions

    1. Wrap the red, white, and blue plaid duct tape around the foam wreath.
    2. Cut the tablecloths into 8 inch by 1 inch strips, three strips of each color.
    3. Tie the red tablecloth strips around the foam wreath.
    4. Knot the three strips together in a single knot.
    5. Tie the white tablecloth strips around the foam wreath next to the red.
    6. Knot the three strips together in a single knot.
    7. Tie the blue tablecloth strips around the foam wreath next to the white.
    8. Knot the three strips together in a single knot.
    9. Tie and glue a piece of red ribbon around the foam circle from which to hang the wreath.
    10. Glue the table scatter around the front of the wreath.
    11. Display the patriotic wreath.
